The character in context

Robert, Jon and Lysa’s only surviving child, inherits the Eyrie while still young. Seizures, loneliness and his mother’s indulgence bind care to power. After Lysa’s death Petyr rules through guardianship, while Sansa, disguised as Alayne, looks after him. The Lords Declarant contest his upbringing. During the descent for winter, concerns about medication and plans for succession reveal how others both depend on his position and anticipate replacing him.
