The character in context

Rickon, Eddard and Catelyn’s youngest child, shares his unsettled life with Shaggydog. Repeated departures from Winterfell leave him angry and frightened. Theon’s displayed bodies convince outsiders that he and Bran are dead, although they have hidden in the crypts. After the sack he leaves with Osha. Wyman later asks Davos to recover the Stark heir, but that search has no narrated conclusion by the end of the fifth book. Rumor and adaptation cannot supply one.
