The character in context

Myrcella, Cersei and Jaime’s daughter, travels to Dorne as Robert’s acknowledged child and Trystane’s betrothed. She adapts to life there but is drawn into Arianne’s plan to crown her. The failed venture leaves her scarred and missing an ear, not dead. Dornish plans for the account she will give Balon Swann place both her injured body and testimony within diplomacy. The television poisoning is absent from the novels.
