The character in context

Jojen arrives from Greywater Watch with Meera and connects his green dreams to Bran’s experiences. He helps Bran recognize his abilities but insists that foreseen events cannot simply be changed. After Winterfell falls, he guides the companions north toward the three-eyed crow. Reaching the cave supplies no uncomplicated resolution: he grows weaker and longs for home. His death is not explicitly narrated in the five published novels.
