The character in context

A Kingsguard knight and Cersei’s twin, Jaime is condemned as the Kingslayer for killing Aerys II. Traveling as Brienne’s prisoner, he loses his sword hand and tells her about the king’s wildfire plot. Back in King’s Landing, he gives Brienne Oathkeeper to seek Sansa. His later work in the Riverlands tests the distance between keeping promises and enforcing his family’s rule.
