The character in context

Chosen as an officer by fellow Unsullied, Grey Worm keeps the name he bore on the day of liberation. He commands for Daenerys while reminding her advisers that discipline does not make soldiers physically indestructible. After the queen leaves Meereen, he participates in Barristan’s military council. His story asks how freed people choose continued service, without importing the television romance or postwar voyage.
