The character in context

Euron returns from exile after Balon’s death and wins the kingsmoot through wealth, intimidation and promises of controlling dragons. He directs war toward the Reach and sends Victarion east for Daenerys with a dragon horn. His brother distrusts him. Euron turns tales of distant voyages into authority, but his assertions do not by themselves establish what the horn will do. The five novels leave the larger campaign unresolved.
