The character in context

Eddard and Catelyn’s younger daughter learns swordplay in King’s Landing, then survives war in the Riverlands under borrowed names after her father’s execution. Captivity and flight repeatedly separate her from possible protectors. In Braavos she trains at the House of Black and White, while memories of her family, direwolf and sword Needle complicate the demand to surrender her identity.
