Arianne Martell

—

Character Overview

Arianne is Doran’s eldest child and heir, but secrecy leads her to fear replacement by Quentyn. She plans to crown Myrcella under Dornish succession law, challenging the Iron Throne while asserting her own position. Interception kills Arys and leaves Myrcella wounded. In confinement she finally confronts her father about misunderstandings and a secret marriage pact, then begins to share his plans. Renewed communication cannot undo the cost of her venture.
